We have been traveling together for 1 week now. We move like a well oiled machine, with everyone pitching in as needed. The wealth of information being shared is incredible. The skills of each member of the team produce an enriched experience for all. For example:
Leanne's ability to organised the food, supplies, and packing are invaluable. She controls the on-the-road lunches, nibbles, drinks, and breakfasts.
Steve, the hawk-eyed wildlife spotter and master Yoda of geological process.
Dr. Cyd, our expedition anthropologist and keen "twitcher" (bird watcher).
Col, the expedition resident ornithologist, general dogs-body (lackie), navigator, and chauffeur .
L-A, expedition photographer, recorder, blogger, and luggage allowance extremist.
And last but not least, Jim our expedition fearless leader . AKA tour guide, chauffeur, park historian, trip planner, BBQ boss, barista, and chief stirrer.
Also to the Abbott and Costello of the group, thanks Jim and Col for the endless laughs and stinging repartee that keeps us all entertained from dawn til dusk. And Steve who is now feeling comfortable enough to join in the slagging as an initiated temporary Aussie.
