Day 8: Climbing Mt. Bruce

The iPhone blogging is working again. I am hiking up Mt Bruce and adding this in real time all the backlogged posts are now uploaded. I suspect that we have a good signal due to the mine site. The mine land was removed from the park.

We made it to the top. 11:10am it 1800 feet in 2 hrs 25 minutes with lots of photo and blogging stops.

The views are amazing from the top. It was an effort to get there but so worth while. On the trail we met 3 unrelated. Pairs of Germans, a boy from Israel, another 2 lads from Holland, a couple from Switzerland who now live in Melbourne. At the top is a guest log book for visitors to register their names and hometowns.

Mt. Bruce is Western Australia's 2nd highest peak, with Mt. Meharry, 68 kilometres south if here is the tallest.
